Yeah, they have them on ASGI as well. I was planning on getting one when I got all my tan gear.

Bought one the other day. I like it. Really seems to work well.
The pics don't really tell you how it works but there is the outer flap that folds down and has those two window things. Good for radio markers or mission OBJ ect. Then if you fold the front up you get to the pen holder and a nice sized pocked behind the pens. If you unzip the thing that is where the map is. you can unfold the map and look at it attached to the poutch or you can pull it off its velcrow mount and have it removed.

Would you be able to snap a few pics of it in real life in higher resolution than they've got? Sounds sweet, but I can't visualize how all the folding and attaching goes on.
How far does it protrude from the vest? As in, does it cover up 2 whole mags like brad's Admin pouch does, rendering the pockets below the pouch useless?
And how many MOLLE columns does it take up? Would it fit next to a radio pouch on the upper chest section of a waasatch?

Looking at the actual website, and the full size image, it appears to be 3 columns.Link wrote:And how many MOLLE columns does it take up? Would it fit next to a radio pouch on the upper chest section of a waasatch?

Pics to come. MOLLE foot print is as follows. Two straps attach the item but it has a 3 MOLLE wide foot print and a 3 deep foot print. The thickness of it as it is not loaded is about 2 stacked M4 mags as they would sit in a 2x mag pouch. More information to come when I find my stinking camera.

Re: Map Organizer an Admin Pouch
I only ask about how many columns it takes up specifically because I've got a few pouches that take up more room than the MOLLE they actually hooked into. Like the double pistol mag pouch I've got only loops into 2 columns, but I can't put anything in the next column over because it sticks out. Since there's only 6 columns available on the upper section of the waasatch, I'd like to be sure an admin pouch will fit next to a radio pouch up there.
As to the thickness, can you still grab the mags directly below the pouch, especially when there's stuff in the pouch?

Send me a link to your vest again and I will look at it and rig my vest that is closest to yours.

Looks like yet another Condor pouch that we don't carry. I can order them if anyone wants them. They're $19.99.

Me too. One in TAN please. Add me to the list.
One quirk on the new vests. The velcro opening at the neckline / top of chest area has no bottom. If you open it up, anything you drop in goes all the way to the bottom. Odd.

Let me know when these get in Brad, I want to see if I've got room first on my vest before committing to one.
