Basic overview of missions for Mini-OP 005.

U.S. Forces

Establish Order:
Move into the city and establish perimeter.
Avoid civilian casualties.
Weed out any insurgent hiding inside city.
Search city for insurgent weapons cash.
Locate an disarm all improvised explosive devices.
Small explosive devices have been hidden throughout the city.
Patrol the streets.

Establish Trust:
Locate and hire interpreter.
*Interpreter is a HVT, high value target. Protect him at all cost.
Locate leader and negotiate terms for rebuilding the city.
*The items location will be delivered to the U.S. by the civilian leader.
Money
Sewer
Water
Electricity

Mop Up:

Disrupt insurgent activities.
Stop insurgent mortar attacks on Bagdad.
*A sound device will be used to simulate mortar attacks. When the device sounds a game operator will designate an area in the city where the motor hits. This will be random and when you are asked to place your death rag on please do so.
Capture insurgent leader. The leader can be held for 20 minutes.


Insurgents:

Locate hidden weapons in designated area and move them to the mortars.
Launch mortar attack on the city.
*This will be accomplished by activating the sound device.
Disrupt U.S. activities in the city.
Disrupt U.S. activities outside the city.
Locate and capture the HVT
*U.S. Forces require this person in order to communicate with Civilians
Eliminate any U.S. military
Destroy the bridge out of the city..
*Place the bomb on the bridge for 10 minutes.
Once the bomb goes off, tie red rope at both ends of the bridge. If the rope is in place, the bridge is destroyed. Once the bridge is destroyed, it may not be used for the rest of the operation.
Eliminate civilians working with U.S. forces.
*When civilians are shot, they must bleed out for 5 minutes preventing them from helping U.S. forces.

This is just a quick work up of the missions.

Props will include:
Mortars
Bomb
Weapons crates small and large
Power cord
5gal water jug
Red bungee cords for bridge destruction
Pvc pipe for sewer
Case with money in it.
Fake money to hire interpreter.

If we want to add another layer, we can also crash the drone with a hardrive in it.

Should we come dressed in our DCUs and bring a set of civilian clothes?

oh man i had a blast. im sorry for a couple of shots i took i probably shouldnt have but i was in that kill or be killed mode, so i apologize for any wounds i might have caused.

i loved the field, loved the players. its was good seeing some young guys out there, thats always good :-)

the only thing i didnt like about the field was there was a crosswind that cut the field in half so my bb's would curve when they started loosing momentum :-(
