Valley Creek Open Play. Williamsburg OH - March 1st, 2009
Let's show our support guys. I can't do another Springfield 100 series, I'm wanting to do a 200 series., so let's get out and practice as a team at Stormblade's event. I need I head count and need you guys to RSVP. It will be a good chance to workout and bring some of the new crew up to speed on hand signals and movement.

I can't do Open Play 005 and this one, they're too close together. So which even would you rather see me at?

I would prefer you go to the valley creek event since we'll be playing rather than reffing.

I would like to make this a practice day and strongly urge everyone to attend. This is an advance enough notice. Please make room on your calender to attend. I would like to see the entire team out for a game so we can work on key items. RSVP as soon as possible.

I too may have to chose between this or Open 006. Plus I was supposed to travel that week to meet a customer coming in from China.
I can't confirm their schedule until after Chinese New Year ends in a week or so.
Put me down as tentative and I'll confirm in 2 weeks or so. Should be clear by then.

The past 2 games I've gone to at Valley Creek have allowed for squad movement/ communication quite nicely. The close proximity of respawn and objectives have been useful to keep squads together, as well. When I was rolling with ASL last time, we operated both 'independently' in squad form as well as a squad within a platoon. Just keep in mind, this game coming up is the equivelant to a 100 series game where the last game was the MilSim Open... I wouldn't expect much help from their mission planning committee on assisting our goal of training.
All the same, it might not hurt to ask what kind of missions they plan on running and mention we may show up in force, ready for any size mission.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP so Locutus can plan for it.
Spectre, I will try to get the saw up and running.

Well, with 28 registered tan vs. 16 green (who all appear to be new-ish), that's not going to much of a fight.

Maybe Multicam will go green, or even Multicam vs DCU + Green, considering how much MC is on the field these days. Plus, since there's no large senario, it may not even be a problem to be this lopsided.

I'm confirmed as in. DCU unless you want to go old school in Woodland?
Torque, Want to carpool? I can pick you up. That way you don't have to dirty up the dub.
Just let me know.

Don't forget your waivers! Especially you kids who need them notarized...
Which reminds me, Matt, let me know for sure if you need a ride. If so, plan on pickup at 0800. RF: same for you!
