NiMH are a better quality than the NiCad. While its subject to opinion, there are a couple good battery posts over at AO. I'll dig them up tonight.

I noticed it's NiMH where my current battery's NiCad. That wouldn't make any performance differences, would it? Only differences in memory build-up and charging practices, right?

Spectre, Systema actually phased out the 7.2v battery. The 7.2v battery was chosen to simulate the rate of fire of the real steel version.

Nope, it will use 9.6v and even 12v.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the PTW use a 7.2V battery. That runs 9.6V.
