Event Descriptions
Open Scenario Play - These events are intended to introduce new players to scenario and objective based airsoft, as well as allow experienced players to work on tactics, teamwork and get ready for the next big event they'll be attending. Most Open Scenario Play events will incorporate a storyline and encourage players to take on the roles of the side they are fighting for. Mission success depends on teamwork, communication and a willingness to follow the chain of command. Most scenarios range anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours in length and will be physically challenging.
Old School Days - These days take players back to the humble beginnings of Airsoft Louisville. Players will enjoy a more relaxed pace of play and a relaxed rules set as well. We will do away with the usual magazine restrictions, have relaxed uniform requirements and switch up teams frequently throughout the day. You will expect to see a mixture of small objective based and elimination gameplay. This is a good chance to train or work on a specific skill since the scenarios are shorter. It gives time for evaluation and then allows you to try it again quickly. Games will last anywhere from 15 minutes up to 1 hour.
Open Training Events - These are an addition to the 2010 schedule. Airsoft Louisville will offer open training events that mix military combat tactics with proven airsoft tactics. All training received will allow players to perform better on the field as an individual and in a team setting. Those conducting the training have real world military experience and/or years of airsoft experience. You can expect basic and intermediate courses on movement as an individual and as a team, communication, CQB instruction and much more. Even the most experienced player will find these training events useful to refine their skills.

Guys, just wanted to give you a heads up on our schedule.
Additionally, January 17 is the grand opening event for the Asylum Field Airsoft Store! We will have an action packed day of airsoft with multiple scenarios. Afterwards, the store will be raffling off some items.
We would love to get a strong turnout from SPEAR for this event!
