Ok, I'm sick of my bullshit CA Hop up Chamber, bucking and barrel absolutely sucking. I've searched a shit load for a Prometheus Hop Up chamber but have yet to find one. If you know of a place, please tell me.

My Plan: Prom Hop Up + Prom Bucking + Prom Barrel = Win

Jack. I did. They do not have the prom chamber. Only the bucking and barrel. Plus shipping will kill me. John how are the madbull hop ups? I keep getting mixed reviews on them. If they're any good I'll get one from Ray. Do they have a decent bucking with the unit or would you recommend something else?

Prommy chamber was discontinued a couple years ago and the only one I know of ever being installed was the one I installed with Jack into his M4...EDIT - Found it all for you!

No, I have an old systema hop. There are two models of the Prom product. There "perfect" unit is still made. Just search for all their products.

I'm trying to research and compare the prom and madbull ultimate hop ups. Can I get input on both as I've never used either.

Plus I think I'm going to spend a bit more to get another 6.01.

I've now worked on 3 madbull hops, Bango went through two and they both failed and now Ben's doesn't work well. We can't figure out what the issue is in any of the three cases. But all lost over 100FPS when installed. Ben lost 300fps.

The Prometheus hop components have been excellent in all the years Jack and I and Phalanx used them. Never an issue.

Have you checked the clearance between the actual gearbox and the chamber on the madbull? There where some funny marks on Ben's when I took the upper off to test mine in its place.

Check out the KA chamber too if you want something a little more economical. The stock packing and nub is shit however.

Honestly anything will be better than the CA I have. I'm not too fond of King Arms, sorry Paul. I think I'll go with the Prometheus chamber and soft packing and a PCT or DBC 6.01.

Hey Matt ... While this might be considered a "late" response, you know I'm a big fan of Classic Army airsoft guns too. But, I noticed that with my M4 (that I just sold to Zach) and my M15A1 - the hop up is less that steller.

Ray installed a MadBull Ultimate Hop Up in my M4 and it had a 6.03 Madbull tightbore. It works really well and I think if you try out Zach's M4 you'll agree.

This next payday, I'm going to get Ray to install a MadBull Hop Up in my CA M15A1 along with my new 6.01 Madbull tightbore.

However, if you already have a Promy barrel, you may want to find a Promy Hop Up Chamber. These items tend to work together better when they are the same brand.
